Our full coverage Feeder Frock nursing cover is not only stylish, but easy to use. Here is a guide with helpful tips on using it!...
All you have to do is store The Feeder Frock in your diaper bag, pull it out when it's time for feeding your baby, put it over your head, and wrap it around your body and tie the ribbons. Then, hike up your shirt, pulling it up and under the ribbon ties as needed.
**Tip: It's just easiest to do this while standing, and before you hold your baby, but you can also lean forward while sitting, and allow the back panel to fall into place.**
**The Feeder Frock is ideal for movement and activity while nursing, but can also be used in tight spots, like airplanes or restaurant booths, just by putting it over your head and using the front panel fabric for coverage.**
(We now have just the "Front" cover, available in all of our unique styles!)
Tie the back panel at you waist or under your breasts to wrap the fabric around your sides and hide everything. After tying tightly, the back panel is secure, so you don't have to worry about what your shirt is doing underneath.
**Tip: Tying the back panel tightly, sets The Feeder Frock in place, for the front neckline to rest appropriately open, and the back panel to stay put. The Feeder Frock is designed to hold onto your body to function, especially when you're moving.**
**You'll notice that your Feeder Frock has ribbon ties, (soft for you and your baby), set back from the seam line on the back panel. This is to accommodate a very small woman to a larger woman.**
The front panel of The Feeder Frock covers your front and sides amply. The front panel has the same amount of fabric as the Hooter Hider, so you're getting much more for your money with The Feeder Frock.
**Tip: The custom adjustable neckline on the front panel, allows Moms of different breast sizes to bend and shape the memory wire for their individual tailoring. A larger breasted Mom may need more side coverage, so she can flatten the memory wire a bit for a wider panel, and still custom shape for viewing.**
**Please Note: LaDy LaDuke's clothing labels recommend to remove the memory wire from The Feeder Frock before washing. If the memory wire is accidentally washed, don't worry. We have tested The Feeder Frock for multiple washings, but LaDy LaDuke still recommends to remove the memory wire before washings for liability reasons.
*Did you know that you can save $90-$120 a month by breastfeeding and not buying formula!
*Breastfeeding is associated with decreased risk for many early-life diseases and conditions, includingotitis media, respiratory tract infections, atopic dermatitis, gastroenteritis, type 2 diabetes, sudden infant death syndrome, and obesity. Breastfeeding also is associated with health benefits to women, including decreased risk for type 2 diabetes, ovarian cancer, and breast cancer.
*Exclusive breastfeeding is defined as an infant receiving only breast milk and no other liquids or solids except for drops or syrups consisting of vitamins, minerals, or medicines.
*Compared with breastfeeding combined with formula feeding, exclusive breastfeeding provides more protection against lower respiratory tract infections, acute otitis media, atopic dermatitis, and childhood obesity.
*The American Academy of Pediatrics and other health organizations recommend that mothers exclusively breastfeed their infants for the first 6 months of life, with continuation of breastfeeding through age 12 months and beyond as other foods are introduced.
